Why finance and manufacturing together

The finance side grew out of FP&A and corporate accounting experience. The manufacturing work came from clients in those businesses asking whether the same approach could handle the plant side too, and it did: learn the role properly, source directly, screen hard on the specifics, and send short slates.

A manufacturing business hiring a plant controller and a plant manager in the same year is dealing with one firm that understands both roles and both hiring managers. That turns out to matter more than sector specialization usually does.

Based in the Southeast, working nationwide

Atlanta is the base, and it is a strong one for this work. The city carries a dense corporate finance and accounting market, and the manufacturing belt running through Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and Florida is full of single-site and small multi-site operations where one hire moves the whole business.

Knowing which companies in a market are growing, which just lost a controller, and which have a reputation that makes candidates hesitate is worth more than a bigger database. That local knowledge is strongest in the Southeast, and the same sourcing discipline applies wherever the role sits, including plants and headquarters outside the region.
